This particular seat design was only produced for a very short time for USA models. It is odd because the centre fluted section of the seat cover is embossed with the Diamond pattern that was used on the TR6 range of the same period. Later models in this year had a more conventional perforated pattern. Be sure to check the foams and straps underneath if they are original because it is quite likely that they have disintegrated with age.
